Virtual Box VM: No internet in Windows XP virtual image | CodeAsp.Net

I installed Windows XP SP3 image on Virtual Box VM in my machine. Everything worked well in the installation but I was not able to connect to internet. In order to fix that I selected the following option as the Network Settings for me:

1. Select Adapter 1.
2. Check the "Enable Network Adapter" checkbox.
3. Select "Bridged Adapter" option from the "Attached to" dropdown.
4. Select your host machine's WiFi adapter from the list.
5. Click Advanced.
6. Select "PCnet-FAST III" from the "Adapter Type" list.
7. Check the "Cable Connected" checkbox.
8. Click "Ok" and start the Virtual image.

After doing the above steps I was able to connect to internet with Windows XP SP3 virtual image in Virtual Box.
