While running my application via Xcode to my iPhone I noticed I was getting the following error in the log: no valid “aps-environment” entitlement string found for application" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=no valid “aps-environment” entitlement string found for application} I was able to fix this problem by enabling push notification capability. Click on .xcodeproj -> Capabilities -> Enable Push Notification.

VS2015 Post-build event not firing

Here is the solution to fix it. In Visual Studio go to "Tools" >> "Options". Select "Projects and Solutions" option. Select "Build and Run". On right hand side pane uncheck "Only build startup projects and dependencies on Run" checkbox.

Using F10 F11 keys in VMware Fusion in MAC OS

If you are facing issues while using native F10, F11 keys while debugging Visual Studio in VMware Fusion you need to switch the functionality of your Mac’s function keys so as retain the original functionality of the Function keys. Launch "System Preferences". Click on the "Keyboard" icon. Click on the checkbox saying "Use all F1, F2, etc, keys as standard function keys".
