How to get the count of how many records/rows are there in .xls or .xlsx file ?

Hello ,Hi Everyone...

I am using WebSite Application(ASP.NET, C#, SQL SERVER 2005). I want to refer data which is already existed in .xls/.xlsx file .&

 that data i want to display in Webform while page loading . Each time .xls/.xlsx file name and data can be different .

I want to access the data of the Columns (Like X,AG,AY,etc) only ,bcoz they might have datacolumns heading repeated. therfore to avoid confusion or to get the data accurate ,I want to access .xls file column headings Columns (Like X,AG,AY,etc) only .

Please help ...I am waiting for reply..........
