compatability issue

I am creating web setup project in VS 2005. (OS: Windows 7). When i ran the setup the installation page comes up and immediately the screen disappeared. but msiexec runs on the task manager. after some time i noticed the event viewer and i found the below message.

The application (Visual Studio 2005, from vendor Microsoft) has the following problem: Visual Studio 2005 has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows.

What shoild i do to fix this.

Hi,

This compatibility issue is fixed with SP1 update for VS2005. 

Go to: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=7524 and download SP1 Update for Visual Studio 2005, this update is the same for Vista, Windows 7 and Server 2008 (include 2008 R2).

Or check for Updates from the Help menu to ensure you have the latest updates.

One more thing, some Visual Stuio 2005 tasks and scenarious will not work without Administrator permissions. I recommend you to use "Run as administrator" to launch Visual Studio 2005.
