Posting Rules

Hi programmers,

Here are the basic posting rules in the CodeAsp.Net forums:

1. Try to explain your question with as much details as you can, like specifying the browser, ASP.NET version etc. Remember that the more details you provide the quicker and easier it is for community members to give you the right answers.

2. All members are moderated. This is neccessary to avoid spamming. Once the user cross a certain number of points he becomes un-moderated.

3. If you are a moderated user, your post will not appear instantly. It will get published only after one of our admins or moderators have approved it. This might take anything between 2-4 hours, so please be patient.

Another thing that helps a lot is to state the language you are working in (C#/VB). While there are conversion tools out there a lot of users dont know about them.

In fact that would be an awesome tool to integrate into the forums - auto code conversion!
