DHTMLX Scheduler .NET v.3.0 for ASP.NET is out. The newly released web calendar control adds the following improvements:

  • customizable time scales:

Now users can add/hide time units, that is days and hours, by customizing the time scales of the calendar appropriately. This feature makes it possible to remove, for example, lunch time or weekends from the calendar view, or display two working weeks at a time:

  • updated logic for recurring events:

The recurring events pattern has been updated. A new configuration property allows creating recurring events starting from the week of their actual occurence, exluding the past days.

  • customized events display in the month view:

A new extension makes it possible to display a limited number of events in each cell of the month view. To view all events, you have to click on the 'View more' link.

  • convenient display of overnight events in the multi-day view

In addition to the regular mode when long events are lined in the upper part of the calendar, you can enable a today/tomorrow mode to display overnight events as it is shown below:

  • improved Scheduler .NET API:

Data loading became more flexible thanks to the added serialization attributes to the classes.

Besides, this update also allows Scheduler .NET initialization via JavaScript. Now the web control can be easily integrated with jQuery and Backbone js.
